I used to be all about strawberry jam...

Last night after jogging home from work, I didn't feel like having a massive dinner at all.  Matt wanted something simple (like cheese on toast) so I went for a smoothie of course!

I recreated the magic from Sunday and that just about hit the spot!

I was also lucky enough to be given some flowers last night! Matt bought them home, which was a lovely surprise.  I am such a lucky lady, that's for sure.  They look beautiful and sit so well on our dining table.

I saw on Julie's blog yesterday that she put some peanut butter in her oats.  You know, I always see people doing that but I never got on the band wagon.  Until recently.  I decided to start putting peanut butter in my smoothies and have pretty much not looked back since.
Well, this morning... I took the next step and put a spoonful into my oats.  My goodness! It was amazing.  I think that warming the peanut butter up, changed the way it tasted just slightly and turned it into something I now have an obsession with.  Jokes... But serious :)

  • 1/2 cup of Quakers Oats
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened soy milk
  • 1 tblsp crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp PHD protein powder
  • 1 tsp Linwoods ground milled flax seeds
  • 1 tsp agave nectar
What do you do in the morning to spice up your oats? Do you eat them plain or do you add bits and bobs like I do?
