Saturday night as you know, I got dressed up and went out for meatballs with my lovely friends Ryan, Cassandra, Christopher and Elenor.
It was a lovely little restaurant in Clerkenwell called, funnily enough, Meatballs.
I enjoyed some Greek lamb meatballs with a french salad along with a brownie ice cream sandwich for desert. None of which I managed to get photos of. They disappeared from my plate pretty quickly :)
We then went back to Ryan & Robbie's place for a couple more drinks and a good quality catch up after returning from their honeymoon this week. I got to see all their photos from Africa while sipping some Moet. Now that's my idea of a good night!
Since it was late by the time we were done talking; (Ryan and Elenor had gone to bed while we were up until around 2:30am) I slept on their amazingly comfortable couch for the night. Well, early morning ;)
Now, what a beautiful day Sunday was. How priceless is this view?
Elenor cooked us a magnificent omelet for brunch and boy oh boy, did it hit the spot!
- Sea salt
- Cracked pepper
- Spring onion
- Cherry tomatoes
- Baby new potatoes
- Speck bacon
- Diced chili
- Olive oil
- Avocado set on top
- Cheese to finish
Don't you love how I took this photo without the cheese on top? We could have left it off to make it a lot healthier, however, who are we kidding? Cheese is amazing and this is a real blog remember ;)
Ta da! Yes, I totally begged for the crispy left over bits that were still in the pan after cutting it up.
Very filling and very tasty. Thanks Elenor for such a wonderful meal xx
