Jamie Eason's LiveFit trainer - Phase 2 Day 29 & Zwow 5

Happy Monday!  Kidding.  If you had to go to work for 9am this morning, it was quite possibly not a happy Monday.

This is a run down of my weekend.  Friday night a few of us got a Groupon deal to London Zoo for the Zoo Lates experience.  It was really nice and a great change of pace for us.  We did of course go for a drink in The Black Heart afterwards, but not before this pic was taken.

Then something strange happened.  I literally did not get out of bed all day on Saturday.  Not a word of a lie.  Allll day on Saturday I was flat out exhausted in bed.

Sunday I woke up and forced myself to go for a jog/walk to at least get some fresh air.  I managed one loop of the park at a basic walking pace.  It took me around 30mins to do something I can usually knock out in 20mins.  I came home, changed my bed sheets, had a shower and then hopped back into bed.  I was knackered!  I have no idea what was wrong with me... but I feel much better today.

I would like to make a special shout out to Michelle for making me dinner and bringing my washing in while I was flat out in bed.  Watching Game of Thrones.  I'd do anything to stay in bed watching that, really :)

So I was a bit nervous about waking up on Monday. I didn't know if I would still feel like rubbish or not.  The first half of the day was definitely a bit touch and go, but true to form I sucked it up and got on with things.  

Monday WOD
5mins warm up on rower
10mins treadmill while waiting for all the guys to finish taking their sweet time on the machines and in the weights room.  So frustrating, but stuff it.  I dealt with it!

Bent over BB row
One handed DB row
Ab work

For lunch Janine and I decided to go for the soup.  I had tomato and fennel while Janine had mushroom and something or other.  It looked a bit murkey, so I decided to stick with what looked like it said it was supposed to be. 

When I got home, I was feeling good - bring on Zwow #5.

I managed to complete 5 rounds less 2 burpees, which was pretty close to Zuzana's score.  YAY!  I did the 2 burpees anyways, regardless of the time just to prove to myself I could give it my allll.

While working out I noticed the strangest thing.  I have so many pink workout things.  Whether its clothing, equipment or shoes... I love my pink. Even my old boxing gloves used to be pink.  Get the feeling I am trying to prove something here right?

 
Anyways, I am off for dinner.  How good does this look?  Nut cutlet, 2 tiny potatoes and veggies.  Nom nom nom.  I feel awesome right now!
